Account Representative / Carlsbad, NM

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an accountable, approachable, action-oriented Account Representative for production chemical operations in the Carlsbad, NM area.

The Account Representative will primarily be responsible for assisting their assigned Account Manager with sales and services activities associated with customers, including recurring orders, samples, and monthly reporting for their assigned geographical area and customer.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Obtaining field samples for laboratory analysis; Performs field analysis of samples within parameters set forth by Aegis’ Operations team; Assists Account Managers in providing chemical and mechanical solutions to the Customer, while assisting them in lowering their lifting cost; Creates monthly reports capturing cost, lab analysis, failures, etc.

Attends and participates in Customer meetings, to exchange information and report performance; Troubleshoots production chemical-related problems should they be encountered on the Customer’s site; Assists with a Total System Analysis (chemical survey) on existing or potential Customers Manages Customer chemical inventory in coordination with regional Aegis Operations team; Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum level and; Focuses on accomplishing goals in a team environment with an emphasis on safety and cooperative communication across all other functional departments.

One or more years of production chemical industry experience is required. A two or four-year college degree is preferred, but we will consider related career experience in lieu of. This position requires the ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains (90% of working time). Daily physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, bending, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing, and talking.

Business Development / Houston, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an experienced, approachable, action-oriented Business Development professional, who has a proven track record of selling frac fluids, along with experience in selling frac services directly to operators in primarily in Texas and Oklahoma. There is potential for travel to PA in the future.

Other key responsibilities would be to identify and develop new business; maintain communication with current and prospective customers and; understanding of Company needs and pain points and the ability to create customized solutions.

This role reports directly to the Corporate Sales Manager, Drilling and Stimulation.

A Bachelor’s Degree and 4-5 years of experience is required.

Qualified applicants will have strong attention to detail; be highly organized and deadline-driven, and skilled in the ability to close sales. All candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Account Manager / Carlsbad, NM

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an accountable, approachable, action-oriented Account Manager for production chemical operations in the Carlsbad, NM area.

Serving as the key line of communication between the Company and our Customers, the Account Manager will report to their Area and/or District Manager. The Account Manager will primarily be responsible for obtaining sales, service, and reporting for their Customers within a defined geographical area. In addition to the current Customer base, the Account Manager is also responsible for developing a sales pipeline with a focus on closing new business in their assigned area. The Account Manager may be responsible for supervision of one or more Account Representatives.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining field samples for laboratory analysis;
  • Performs field analysis of samples within parameters set forth by the Operations team;
  • Provides chemical and mechanical solutions to the Customer, while assisting them in lowering their lifting cost;
  • Coordinates with Technical Services on difficult chemical-related problems;
  • Creates monthly reports capturing cost, lab analysis, failures, etc.
  • Attends and participates in Customer meetings, to exchange information and report performance;
  • Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum levels;
  • Provides written recommendations to improve operations for the Customer;
  • Troubleshoots production chemical-related problems should they be encountered on the Customer’s site;
  • Develops and maintains Treater Truck treatment rates and/or frequency;
  • Ensures Customer KPIs (key performance indicators) are met
  • Conducts and reports a Total System Analysis (chemical survey) on existing or potential Customers
  • Manages Customer chemical inventory in coordination with the regional Operations team;
  • Supervises a team of one or more Account Representatives;
  • Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum level and;
  • Focuses on accomplishing goals in a team environment with an emphasis on safety and cooperative communication across all other functional departments.

Three or more years’ production chemical industry sales and account management experience is required. A four-year Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we will consider related career experience in lieu of. This position requires the ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains (80% of working time). Successful supervisory experience in developing and leading a team is a must.

All candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) is a must.

All applicants MUST have a clean driving record.

Duties will include but are not limited to hauling chemicals from the Aegis Midland warehouse facility to customer locations; chemical treating of all scheduled wells and locations on a regular basis, and marking them as complete on field ticketing software; keeping up with DOT documentation//logs; understanding container labeling and associated product hazards; loading and unloading trucks; performing routine servicing and inspection of truck equipment and supplies; and handling special projects as needed.

All candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) is a must.
