Production Chemicals

Oilfield Production Treating Chemicals programs are the result of field services including advice, troubleshooting, well monitoring and tank battery/well testing to determine oil, gas and water quality. Our Field Service Technicians will perform on-site testing or collect produced fluids and data for laboratory analyses. This work along with field experience is the basis for making recommendations to improve oil, gas and water quality or to protect the assets used to produce, store and transport oil & gas.

Field laboratory testing includes:

  • Water analysis
  • Solids analysis
  • Milipore tests
  • Emulsion tendency testing
  • Foaming tendency testing
  • Oil analysis
  • Wax analysis
  • Scale analysis
  • Bacterial analysis
  • Failure analysis
  • Other testing/analyses as required

In addition to the improvement in oil, gas, and water quality, the objectives of this field service is to improve the life of the well, surface equipment and pipeline systems through such things as reducing friction and rod wear, treating iron sulfide and eliminating bacteria problems. Additionally, optimizing the field economics by reducing produced emulsions, inhibiting the formation of scale, hydrates or paraffin, to name just a few.

Oilfield production chemicals fall into three major product groups:

Asset Integrity

  • Biocides
  • Combination Products
  • Corrosion Inhibitors
  • H2S Scavengers
  • Scale/Corrosion Combo

Flow Assurance

  • Foamers
  • Hydrate Inhibitors
  • Paraffin/Asphaltene Inhibitors
  • Scale Inhibitors
  • Surfactants

Phase Separation

  • Defoamers
  • Demulsifiers
  • Water Clarifiers

We also offer a broad spectrum of Commodities that are commonly used by our customers in the oilfield.
